The Commission is chaired by a retired Chief Judge of Lagos State, Hon. Justice Abdul Fatai Afolabi Adeyinka. The Electoral Commissioners are Hon.(Mrs) Felicia K. Oriola, Hon Moshood T. Amele, Hon. Deoye Ogundipe and Hon. Olalekan Saheed Mabinuori, while the Permanent Secretary of the Commission is Mr. A. T. Jeje.
Hon. Justice Abdul Fatai Afolabi Adeyinka (rtd) is the
Chairman and Chief Electoral Commissioner of the Commission.
A retired Chief Judge of Lagos State, Hon. Justice Adeyinka
has contributed immensely to the development of the legal
profession in Nigeria. He has attended many National and
International courses, seminars and conferences.
Hon (Mrs) Felicia Oriola is a retired Assistant Commissioner
of Police. She has attended many management and security
related workshops, seminars and conferences in Nigeria. She
participated actively in the organization of in-plant
workshops for the Nigeria Police.
Hon. Moshood Tokunbo Amele is a former member of the House
of Representatives. Prior to his appointment as a member of
the Commission, Hon. Amele had worked in reputable private
engineering companies and attended many courses such as,
U.N.D.P/ E.D.P. Trainer course in 1997.

Hon. Olalekan Saheed Mabinuori is a graduate of Political
Science from the prestigious University of Ibadan, Ibadan
and also holds a masters degree in Public Administration
from the Lagos State University (LASU). Hon. Mabinuori was

of Lagos and Ife as well as the University of Nigeria,
